about

I wrote this song after I had joined a Zoom call from Intensive Care colleagues in Italy during the height of the COVID pandemic.
I was particularly shocked about the silent suffering of relatives not being allowed to visit their loved ones and the fear of bringing the unknown and potentially lethal virus into our own homes and to our loved ones at home.
The war in Ukraine yet again leaves me speechless.
I have no words for this world gone mad.
Although it is so important that we all speak up and stand up for the truth, against aggression and war, and for peace.
I hope that there will be better times to come eventually.
